plant advice
I love plants, they have been my hobby since highschool. When living back in upstate NY I would grow both indoor and outdoor plants, helping my parents with our vegetable garden and fruit trees while also having my own personal mini greenhouse I built in my room amongst my other indoor plants. Now that I live in Boston, basically full time, I keep only a few house plants that fit and can grow well in my apartment.
So far, I have a few monsteras, a round leaf calathea, spider plant, snake plant, bamboo, a mini orchid, and a few pothos and spider plant cuttings in my apartment. I chose these for my apartment because most of them do not need a lot of attention and are okay with mostly indirect lighting which is good by the windows in my room are not the best for lighting.
